THE QUICK-FLICK MOVIE GUIDE...

Almost forgot about the MOVIES that I have recently been to. Now I was going to post several individual blogs here, but I can`t be arsed.

So here goes with my MOVIE_DUDE : "QUICK-FLICK GUIDE". It`s pretty much a short version, going off "what I can just about remember" from the film.

COUPLES`S RETREAT

I enjoyed this. Sure it was about couples going on holiday to sort out their relationship problems and not what I would call "a suitable first date" movie. But it went down OK. There was a whole host of laugh-out loud moments and I felt pretty good from seeing it. The cast was well managed and they all seemed to gel on screen. Once again, Jason Bateman (in my opinion) stole the show, but then again - he is a great actor to watch. GUITAR HERO plays out in the film, but you won`t want to sit through the whole movie just to see that, would you?

My MOVIE_DUDE verdict - Great, if you like a funny sort of comedy. Average, if you don`t want to sit through an hour & a 1/2 of couples going on about their problems. And Dull, if you just don`t like these kinds of films.

TRIANGLE

Mmmm... Not what I would call "conventional". But then again, I would have ended it when she was standing in the road just after the car crash. That "WOULD" have been a better ending, plus it doesn`t take a genius to work it out from there. Anyway, TRIANGLE was pretty much your typical "killer on an ocean liner, killing everyone who stupidly gets in his way". There was a few "imaginable" surprises, but then - I wouldn`t call them surprises.

My MOVIE_DUDE verdict : Mmmm... check it out on BOX OFFICE or when it comes to SKY PREMIERE, if you can wait that long!!!

THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS

What can I say? I laughed my arse off so much, that a little bit of wee came out! (Gross I know, but it was true.) So OK, I might be exaggerating the `wee bit`. But it was still funny and when George Clooney talks about "JEDIS" to Ewan McGregor - I laughed my arse off. It was different to what I was expecting, which isn`t a bad thing here.

My MOVIE_DUDE verdict : Excellent. Catch it while you can. If you don`t laugh, then you need some kind of help!!!!

IT MIGHT BE A WHILE...

Right now, I am not saying my goodbyes to this site. (Not yet!) My PS3 blog may have died, seeing as I have been using this more recently. But I will "try and keep this one going!"

Those of you who follow this blog, would have seen a bit of a GAP recently develop.

Every since the MCM last month (24th October), things have been improving over here for me. The reason, as to "why I haven`t been up to blogging much", is all down to the fact that I now have a wonderful girlfriend to spend my time with. If you`re on FACEBOOK, then you will know "who I am talking about?" and you might of seen the pic? If you have read my TWITTER snippets here, then you also have an idea as well. I am happy for once in my life. I have someone to look out for now / to care about.

It`s been a long time coming and now that I am in a relationship, I am happier. Which is good, because all I did was mope about and moan a lot. Plus, she is giving me all the inspiration that I need to expand other areas of my life. "I would tell you all, but I don`t want to ruin the surprise!" Let`s just say, that my block has been lifted whenever I am around her...

I have no idea right now, about his part of my life - my blogs. They may well just fall to the wayside for a while, but who knows what will happen to them.

I am not singing my swan-song just yet. However, it all depends on whether I have the time to type up a few lines and post a couple of pics. Now that I have given in and started to use FACEBOOK more, I can`t really see "why I need to carry on here?"

I know that you all enjoy reading up on my PS3 / X-BOX360 / Movie Trailers, and I don`t want to give up just yet. So let`s see how things go, shall we???

GOD OF WAR 3...

Mulligan here with a little PS3 blog.

Well, I was the only one to get the GOD OF WAR 3 demo among my PS3 friends. Most of them were pretty jealous about me getting hold of it. Others were really pissed off with me, seeing as I don`t play it all time. And as for the rest, none of them seemes overly bothered about it.

But as I just said to them - "it was the luck of the draw!"
Now i`m not rubbing it in here, because I wouldn`t want to do that with you all. All I wanted to say, was that the GOD OF WAR 3 demo is still being played out over here. I have started to dabble with the various KILLING techniques and what not, and I have found out a few surpirsing tactics which I will be using!

No doubt i`m guessing the GOD OF WAR 3 demo will be made available in the next few months, for you all to play. And if I had to guess when? Then I would stick my neck out and offer - Christmas time. (Which would be an ideal present for SONY to give the PSN STORE.) Who knows...
